We're lucky to get snow once per winter, and this weekend was it. I know some parents dread snow days, but I love 'em! I've been waiting for this for MONTHS. I bought Charlotte's snow suit and sled in the fall and have been itching to see her use them ever since.
Charlotte wasn't a fan of getting all bundled up. Does any baby like this? "Help! I can't move!" But as you can see from the top photo, she loved riding in her sled.
Lincoln's snowman. Yes, it took all the snow in the yard to make this frigid fellow.
But that didn't stop us from sledding around in the slush. Here Lincoln crashed Charlotte into his snowman, then stopped to eat said snowman's nose.
Craft alert: Credit for Lincoln's hat goes to Aunt Cheryl. She attached tiny turquoise cowbells to the tips (say that three times fast) so it jingles whenever Lincoln moves. Lincoln has to wear his "quiet" hat at school, but he sneaks this one out whenever he can. The snowman is wearing Brighton's scarf.
Brighton posing with his snowman. He used milk jug caps for eyes and apparently decided against a nose.
The green and blue cable-knit scarf was made by my mom.
Lincoln decapitating his snowman. Boys at this age - anything they build MUST be knocked down.
