Hi there, friends. Here's a peek at what I've been working on this weekend.
Halloween may be two months away. But this year my boys have begged, pleaded, and done all sorts of jumping up and down to convince our whole family to dress in coordinating themed costumes.
If any of you can guess what this critter is (or more accurately - what it's going to be), I'll be thoroughly impressed! Leave me a comment and let me know. Then you'll also know why I'm starting on the costumes NOW. (Think of a certain princess and the peachy-pink dress I have to make for that costume.)
Enjoy your day! Rachel
Mario Mario! I think I recognize the look? I also think my oldest daughter wants to be Peach. Can't wait to see what you do with it.
ReplyDeleteWell, that's a Goomba! I don't know how to spell it though! That's what we're doing for Halloween too but I doubt our costumes will be NEARLY as nice as yours. And I have to be Peach since I'm the only girl in the family.
ReplyDeleteMMW - Miss I will make a lovely Princess Peach. Hopefully she won't mind wearing the same costume as some old lady. ;-)
ReplyDeleteAshley - Yep, Goomba it is! I'd love to pick your brain for other costume ideas. I'm the only girl in my family, too, so we'll both be rockin' our pink ball gowns. :) My MIL will be in town for Halloween and has called dibs on Mario. I think my huband will be Luigi. My 3yo keeps flip-flopping between being Toad and a power star. Actually, he wants to be Yoshi but he doesn't like the ready made costumes and making a Yoshi costume is way out of my league. I'll be excited to see your Halloween pics on your blog.
What a great Goomba! Thanks for commenting on my blog and I hope the hats turn out great. Feel free to email if you run into trouble.
